The way st knows if there is a selection activated is checking if sel.ob.x is equal to -1. In some parts of the code the way of disabling the selection was only setting it to -1, but after it you can't be sure if the selection is clearing from the terminal representation, because it is necessary mark all the lines affected by the selection as dirty. Already there is a functon which perform this task, selclear. |

st - simple terminal -------------------- st is a simple virtual terminal emulator for X which sucks less. Requirements ------------ In order to build st you need the Xlib header files. Installation ------------ Edit config.mk to match your local setup (st is installed into the /usr/local namespace by default). Afterwards enter the following command to build and install st (if necessary as root): make clean install Running st ---------- If you did not install st with make clean install, you must compile the st terminfo entry with the following command: tic -s st.info See the man page for additional details.
